Vatroslav Kulis was born in 1951 in Vidoši. In 1971, he completed the School of Applied Arts in Zagreb, and in 1976 graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in the class of prof. Sime Peric.
    In addition to working in the Lexicographic Institute "Miroslav Krleža" where he worked as art editor General encyclopaedias and the Croatian biographical lexicon, worked in graphic design and set design, and has published exhibition design solutions for the troupe "Histrion" theater "Comedy", "Žar Puppet "and National Theatre in Zagreb. Works Vatroslava scenery can be found in museums and galleries in Croatia and in many private collections in Croatia and abroad. He has participated in more than 100-odd solo and over 150 group exhibitions at home and abroad.
